So, last night….

was eventful.

We went to the honors ball, which surpassed my expectations by, I don’t know, a million?  haha.  I’ve never been to a dance with a live band before, especially a band that describes themselves as “a blend of country and americana”.  However, the music was great.  They did a LOT of covers, including: Maroon 5’s Sunday morning, Genie in a Bottle, Feel like Makin Love, Baby Got Back, and (to top it all off as the last song of the night) Country Roads by John Denver.  It was surprisingly awesome.

And OMG it was AMAZING… we had an impromptu Swing Dance Off between Russel and his girlfriend and Ben and I.  It was pretty intense, seeing as I normally dance in flats and was doing this in 4 inch heels haha.

But, when we got back to the dorm, we discovered that Jeff was “Blacklisted”, meaning that his R.A. busted us and now I was basically banned from his dorm.  So that was a buzz kill.

It’s all good now- but it kinda dampened a really great night.
